Wally Iverson
PROFILE
Wally bowled in many events and for a number of teams. In 1973 he represented BC in the World Cup Roll offs; In 1974 He was a member of the Canadian Ten Pin Federation Team that competed in Caracas, Venezuela representing Canada.
Richmond Roots Wally lived in Richmond from 1964 until his passing in 2004. He competed both individually and on various teams, including one with his son Ian at Richmond’s Top Gun Lanes.
Did You Know Wally and his business partners operated 20 table Bayshore Billiards in Richmond from 1962-1972.
MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS
Recognition Wally was inducted into the BC Bowling Hall of Fame in 1976.

Contribution to Richmond Sport Once Wally’s bowling career had taken off, Brunswick Canada asked him to bowl in exhibition promotions (held at Brentwood Lanes) against some of the top professional American bowlers including Dick Hoover, Buzz Fazio and Bob Strampee.
