PROFILE
An Olympian, field hockey coach, and builder. Lance played for Canada's men’s teams at the 1975 Pan Am Games and the 1976 Olympics in Montreal.
Richmond Roots Lance is a longtime Richmond resident and he was a coach with Richmond Field Hockey from 1970s-2000's.
MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS
Recognition He was named Richmond Sports Award builder of the year in 2000. The Vancouver-Richmond High School Field Hockey league named their championship the "Carey Cup" in recognition of Lance and his wife Nancy.
