Jeff Lochbaum
PROFILE
Jeff’s early coaching experience inspired him to pursue a career in teaching. Jeff went on to spend 37 years coaching and teaching with the Richmond School District. His passion for sports also saw him coaching various sports within the community.
Richmond Roots Jeff was born and raised in Richmond and attended Palmer Secondary and Richmond High. He grew up playing both community and school sports including soccer, baseball, basketball and football. Started his coaching career at 16 with Richmond Minor Football. Went on to teach and coach with the Richmond School District for 37 years.
Did You Know The Richmond Colts are 1 of only 3 teams in High School football history to win 3 consecutive championships.
Barriers Overcome Jeff was the only football coach on staff at Richmond High for the first 22 years of his teaching career.
MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS
Recognition Jeff has received the 30 year recognition plaque from the Richmond School District. He is a lifetime honorary member of the BC High School Football Association.

Championship During his coaching Career Jeff lead the Richmond Colts Football team to 4 provincial championships (1976, 1996, 97, 98). Jeff also coached the 1986 Richmond Raiders Jr. Community Football team to a provincial championship.
