Don Fennell

Recreational, competitive and elite professional athletes have found their way to the pages of the Richmond Review thanks to Don. Don spent countless hours getting to know the people involved and would often be found at local rinks, pools, diamonds, tracks, gymnasiums and sport fields well after the work day has ended.

Richmond Roots Don Fennell was the sports reporter and sports editor at the Richmond Review for 25 years.

Recognition The Don Fennell Award, presented at the Richmond Sports Awards, was named after Don for his endless promotion of community sport.

Contribution to Richmond Sport Don covered virtually all community sports in Richmond, highlighting achievements in recreational, professional and elite level categories and the accomplishments of individual athletes who reside in Richmond.
