1996 U18 Air Attack
PROFILE
Richmond Roots Most of the Air Attack Women’s team began playing volleyball in grade 8 at Burnett Junior High School and continued as a group until graduating from Richmond High School in 1996.
Did You Know The team members played a variety of high school sports together including basketball, track & field soccer and volleyball.
Barriers Overcome The girls achieved academic success at high school, participated on a multitude of school athletic teams while as a community club volleyball team they captured the national age group championship.
MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS
Recognition The 1996 Air Attack is only the second team from BC who has won a National Championship in the U-18 age category.
