Jamie Stoddard
PROFILE
Jamie became involved in football late in high school. As smaller player Jamie used his speed and agility to his advantage. Jamie’s hard work resulted in a 9 year career playing in 151 CFL games. Jamie retired from professional football in 2008.
Richmond Roots Jamie was born in Richmond and attended McKinney Elementary, London Jr. High and graduated from Steveston High School in 1995. Since his retirement from football in 2008 Jamie has worked for the Richmond School District as a Teacher.
Did You Know Growing up Jamie preferred track and field, soccer and basketball. He didn’t start playing football until Grade 11.
Barriers Overcome Being born on December 29th, Jamie was often the smallest and youngest person on any team he played on. This drove Jamie to prove to older teammates that he was just as capable.
MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS
Recognition Jamie was recognized as a B.C. High School Football All Star in his graduating year 1995. While attending the University of Alberta Jamie received the Bill Woywitka Memorial award in 1999 as MVP of the Golden Bears football team. In 2000 Jamie received the Richmond Sports Award for Post-Secondary Male athlete.

Championship 2001 and 2007 Canadian Football League (CFL) Western Division Champions with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. Starting in the 2001 and 2007 Gray Cup Championships.
